Changing Gears is the story of two people from Bloomington, Indiana who want to make their town a more sustainable place. It's a TV show, a movie, and a blog about biking from Indiana to California to learn about that transition to sustainability.

June 28: After making our way out of Prairie du Chien, we biked to Postville and then up to the lovely town of Decorah, Iowa, where yet again our new friends let us into their homes and businesses to learn about solar and wind energy, sustainable growing methods, community co-ops, saving heirloom seed, and entities that are working for sustainable food systems. We even learned a few songs along the way!

We slowly got out of Iowa, and are now in MN where we have passed the huge wind turbines and have been catching up on our blogs. Here we come middle of MN!
